IFS to provide Capability Enhancing Support to Rwanda

Following detailed discussions with Prof. Dr-Ing. Verdiana Grace MASANJA of the National University of Rwanda (NUR), IFS is to deliver four Capability Enhancing Support workshops in Rwanda, each lasting 5 days.
The workshops will address the following topics:
- Conceptualization and Preparation of Research Grant Proposals with natural scientists, engineers and technologists (25 persons to be selected by NUR).
- Conceptualization and Preparation of Research Grant Proposals with arts, humanities and social scientists (25 persons to be selected by NUR).
- Putting Research into Use (25 persons to be selected by NUR).
- Communications and Policy Influence (25 persons to be selected by NUR).
The IFS team delivering the support is currently working hard on the course content which, for the first time, will include issues related to the new IFS strategy Approach 3: "Contributing Innovation", especially in workshops 3 and 4.
